Privacy policy
Who we are
CMOVR is a game played inside WhatsApp, run by Laiyr LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the website cmovr.com and the CMOVR WhatsApp number. Questions go to hello@cmovr.com.
What we collect

How we use it
- To run the game: send you clues, check your answers, keep score and pass your messages on to your room.
- To invite you to a game when you asked for early access.
- To keep games safe: filter messages between players, and act on reports.
- To fix problems and make the game better, using game data that is not tied to your number.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
What other players see
Only the avatar and game name you pick, and the messages you choose to send to the room. CMOVR passes every message on itself, so other players never see your phone number, your WhatsApp name or your WhatsApp photo. Players are never put in a WhatsApp group together.
AI
An AI model helps word our messages, judge typed answers and check messages before they are passed on. The text of your game messages is sent to the AI provider for that purpose only. It is not used to train their models, and your phone number is not sent.
Who processes it for us
- Meta (WhatsApp): delivers messages between you and CMOVR.
- Supabase: stores signups and game data.
- Vercel: hosts the website and counts page views.
- An AI provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic): as described above.
- An email provider: sends early-access emails.
These companies may process data outside your country, under their own data-protection terms.
How long we keep it
- Early-access signups: until you ask us to remove you, or until launch plus 12 months.
- Game messages and answers: 90 days after the game ends. Scores and recaps without your number may be kept longer.
Your choices
- Stop messages: send STOP to CMOVR on WhatsApp at any time.
- Delete your data: send DELETE on WhatsApp, or email hello@cmovr.com. We delete it within 30 days.
- See or correct your data: email us and we will send you a copy.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have further rights, and you can complain to your local data-protection authority.
Age
CMOVR is for people aged 13 and over. Games with people you do not know are for ages 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For important changes, we will tell players on WhatsApp.
